These proxy servers are provided by the Boinc community for Boinc users when there are network problems that prevent contact with the project(s). Its a buddy system so please do not abuse it or the providers will withdraw from it. Order Country, Provider ascending. De-peering, routing and IP address changes have all brought users problems in the last 6 months. Whilst this is only a small effort to keep things going it does help those users who enter this buddy arrangement to survive. Its for use when the problems arise and not for normal activity. It needs people to join in. It needs people to be in touch with IP updates, email changes etc. The underlying idea is here. It is a fact that dynamic IPs make this a little challenging but we are prepared to live with that if you are - remember you will need to if you want to connect.

We seek further buddies to increase the geographic coverage. Please post on the Network buddies thread or mail me at boinc@renegade-hosting.co.uk to give details of your setup. Thanks Tigher.

Type Key:   Colour Key:
A = Restricted to a prescribed set of users - buddies that have exchanged IP details and those addresses are known to the server.   Green - Proxy is up and running
B = Open to all but only for communication to a particular domain.    e.g. berkeley.edu               Amber = Getting ready/Considering
C = Open to all - No restrictions on destination nor on who may use the connection.   Red = Proxy closed - May be permanent or temporary-  see notes.
